"Here We Go" is a hip hop-R&B song written by American songwriters Katarina Taylor, Derrick Baker, Josh Burke, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Theodore Lucas, Teedra Moses, James Scheffer and Steven Scipio for Trina's third album ''Glamorest Life'' (2005). The song featured R&B singer Kelly Rowland, who sung the chorus and the bridges in the song. The song was released as the album's second single in North America on September 22, 2005, becoming Trina's first solo Top 20 hit ("One Minute Man" which was a song by Missy Elliott and where she was a featured artist on the single) with peak position at #17 on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Elsewhere released in April 2006, "Here We Go" also saw success in the UK and New Zealand, reaching number 15 in both countries. The song uses a sample from "Tender Love", a 1986 top ten single from R&B outfit Force M.D's. Kelly Rowland has also recorded a cover of the song. The song was certified gold by the RIAA on 6/14/06.〔(''RIAA.com'' ) Retrieved on 05-08-07〕 The demo version of the song features vocals from Teedra Moses, later replaced by Kelly Rowland. Trina included the official remix version of the song on her mixtape ''Rockstarr: The Baddest Bitch Reloaded'', with a new verse from herself as well as a verse from Lil Wayne.
